AFRECO was launched in 1978; Jean-Claude Gombert was one of the two founders. The company rapidly grew in the export of agricultural raw materials from West Africa.
The strength of AFRECO is its ability to collect any products located in its area: Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana.
Kola nuts, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, medicinal plants and coloring plants are some of the many products supplied internationally to the cosmetic, food-processing, and pharmaceutical companies.
Since 2008, AFRECO produces and offers essential oils, vegetable oils and butters through its agro - industrial subsidiary AGRILAND.
